C3RN: Cannabis Community First Recap

BOSTON, Mass.- With the recent legalization laws forming in Massachusetts, Cannabis Community Care and Research Network, (C3RN), was launched in 2017. C3RN’s mission is to provide the public with the knowledge and information needed to safely integrate from dependence of deadly opiates to using cannabis, while conducting research studies, focusing on policy and personal engagement in the cannabis industry.

Helping in the de-stigmatizing of the plant, C3RN launched a series of educational events with expert panelists from all over. Their second event of 2018 of their Cannabis Science, Education, and Networking Series, “Community first for Cannabis Research” was hosted this past week at Roxbury community College in Roxbury Massachusetts.

Panelists for the evening included Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commissioner Shaleen Title, Shanel Lindsay, JD – Founder and President of Ardent Cannabis, Advisory Board Member, Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, Sonia Espinosa – Co-founder Massachusetts Recreational Consumer Council (MRCC) and more. After the panel was through the event included live music provided by DJ Logic, catered food provided by Mass Cannabis Chefs and networking opportunities with industry peers.

C3RN founders Dr. Marion McNabb and Randy MacCaffrie have been tirelessly dedicating their lives to the advocacy, education and research work surrounding cannabis. C3RN’s next community event, being held Thursday, March 29th is titled “”Research Collaborations from Seed to Bedside” “ focusing on medical cannabis cultivation, clinical care and research.
