CT MMP Vape Pens. Are they worth it?

Now…  I’ve been around the block a few times here. I’ve had a few visits to CA, OR, WA, CO, MA, ME, RI, and CT having products from all evironments. One of the items I tend to gravitate towards in foreign lands are vape pens. They’re great in hotels, bars, and resturants. Let’s face it, these things are just too darn easy and some of them taste REALLY good.

Of all the pens I’ve tried in my travels and stays, I like CT’s the least. CT has 4 producers of Medical Cannabis which supply to the 9 dispensaries of the state. All offer a version of a vape cartridge and some offer batteries, the recommended hardware, to power the cartridges.

Granted, usually within the homestead I tend to be a traditionalist. I’m all about the flower power. However they’re are times that I will be among mixed company and go with a cartridge to either keep the smell down or just have a low profile in general… But with the CT cartridges, it might be risky.

In my personal experience (I speak for no one else here. This has been my personal experience) 1/3 of the cartridges that come into my personal possession tend to either not work well, or not work at all. Some of them start off awesome, but then just stop working entirely. Why is this happening? Is the oil too thick? Is the ‘oven’ too weak? I don’t know… You tell me.

Like I mentioned earlier, I’ve been around the block a few times. In some areas I’ve even purchased multiple cartridges and have never had a problem. In some cases these items found their way to the bottom of a suitcase or shoulder bag that ended up discarded for months to have it’s contents be discovered at a much later date. No issues ever. Was I just lucky?  Does everyone else have a better extraction process? Or are these guys just using better hardware?

On average the cartridges that are available in CT MMP program are more expensve than other programs I’ve seen. Considering the extra expense, one might think these would be better products then any other program out there. However, that just doesn’t seem to be the case.

Don’t get me wrong here folks… The oils are great. But the CT hardware for the vapes leave much to be desired.
